No, it’s not a mirage caused by the heat. And no, we haven’t confused the calendar. Christmas in July is back—and it’s better than ever.
This Sunday, July 13, at 9:30 AM, St. John’s will transform into a merry mid-summer haven. You’ll hear joyful Christmas carols (minus the snow boots), see twinkling smiles (no mittens required), and best of all—you’ll have the chance to bring a little Christmas magic to a child in need.
We’re once again proud to partner with the Empire Battalion of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve in support of the Toys for Tots campaign. All we ask is that you bring an unwrapped gift for a child—something that will light up their face when December rolls around. A doll, a puzzle, a soccer ball—anything that says, you matter, you’re loved. Collection boxes will be available in the church throughout July, ready to receive your gift of joy.
Sure, we know it’s summer. The beach is calling, and the sunblock is flowing. But in the kingdom of God, grace isn’t seasonal, and neither is generosity. So let’s stretch the Christmas spirit across the calendar—because why should joy be limited to one month?
Let the world rush the season. We’ll rejoice in it.
Join us for worship this Sunday, July 13, at 9:30 AM. Bring a toy. Bring a friend. Bring your best Christmas spirit. And come celebrate the gift that never goes out of season: the love of Christ.
Blessings,
Pastor Marc
